Northwest Persia (Iran), c. 333 x 94 cm, end of the 19th century, important runner with cotton warp threads and rhomb shaped octagons in alternating colours on black ground covered with small trees, additionally the focus is guided to the yellow, very rare main border and its S symbols with dotted contours, a collector’s carpet with original ends in very good colour condition and overall state of preservation, pile only with minimal traces of use, long sides secured on the back with linen band.
