Southwest Persia (Iran), c. 65 x 62 cm, end of the 19th century, knotted facing side of a former khordjin, valuable Qashqai bag faces without the central rhomb typical of this region are very rare to find, here with 4 x 5 horizontal hexagons in alternating colours, fine, consistently deep pile, both ends, kilim trim and fringes replaced, side edges rebound.
