Northwest Persia (Iran), c. 377 x 275 cm, around 1930/40, Hadj Djalili is the name of a famous weaver from Marand near Tabriz, this is a medallion carpet in the classic pastel colours on ivory coloured background, only slight signs of wear, in excellent pile condition, only minimal imaginary stains, slight edge and end damage.
