"Predhauer in Wienn", rectangular movement, spring-driven, plate with engraved eagle, spring-driven via gut string and fusee, verge escapement, the reverse side with short pendulum, power reserve: probably 1 week, index for date, month and zodiac sign, 4/4 hour striking mechanism on bells, striking mechanism and repeater off-switch, engraved and gilt vaulted dial, season medallions, silvered engraved numeral rings, delicate blued steel clock hands, fruitwood clock case in the neoclassical style, 3 glazed sides, alabaster corner columns, some figural gilt brass fittings, flame-, eagle finials, 59 cm, Austria ca. 1780/1800, traces of wear and tear, no warranty for precision of movement and long-term functioning, (HP)
