Louis-Philippe period, France circa 1830/40. Made in solid carved rosewood, with veneering and maple marquetry fillets, with later seat and backrest upholstery and with grey base covers. In restored condition . (PZ) Footnote: In terms of quality and execution this armchair is reminiscent of the work of the Paris cabinet makers "JEANSELME FRERES".
