Baroque tabernacle cabinet,
18th century and later. A cabinet a trois corps, made in mostly walnut veneer over softwood, with a serpentine and angled front, decorated with burl poplar and maple marquetry panels and with marquetry bands on the writing surface. The lower section has three drawers and the upper section has a niche door and one large and 6 small drawers. Approx. 200 x 135 x 68 cm. Mounts and wood parts replaced, with various small wood losses, some ageing and wear. (DOC)
