Northwest Persia (Iran), c. 383 x 279 cm, about 1920, as early as the 19th century Kurdish weavers from the region used the so-called bijar binding with wet weft threads, which gives carpets a board-like structure and resilience, the present carpet is a classic representative of this type with all-over pattern flower bouquets separated by four-legged figures, excellent condition with full pile and original ends, side edges reworked.
