probably Korea, 18th/19th century, silk and gold embroidery on silk ground, the hangings display three foo dogs in two symmetrical lines, serving as watch lions in protected places in Buddhist religion, the images are additionally decorated with paillettes framed with brass and mesh-braided decorative fringes, the fragile silk foundation presents several damaged spots, mounted on plate.
