A pair of armchairs, designed by Otto Wagner - Design

for the telegraphic office of the newspaper ‘Die Zeit’, Vienna, 1902, manufactured by Jacob & Josef Kohn, bent beech stained to simulate mahogany, the seats upholstered and covered with original dark red leather, brass fittings to the armrests, brass sabots to the feet, with stamped factory brand: J. & J. Kohn, height 77 cm, width 55.6 cm, depth 49 cm, height of seat 46.5 cm. (DRAX)

Otto Wagner designed the complete interior decoration and furnishings for the telegraphic office of the newspaper ‘Die Zeit’. He permitted the manufacturing company, J. & J. Kohn, to produce a small number of additional items on the basis of his design.
