Grand Duchessg Alice of Tuscany (1849-1935), born Princess Bourbon-Parma. Inscribed on the back: "Ihre königliche Hoheit die durchlauchtigste Frau Princess Alixe von Parma, dann Grand Duchess von Toscana ecc geboren in Parma am 27. Dezember 1849. Im Alter von 3 Jahren. Copiert im Oktober 1881 nach einem Gemälde in Schloß Wartegg von Prof. Georg Decker"(....Princess Alice of Parma....born in Parma on 27th December 1849. At the age of 3 years. Copied....by Prof. Georg Decker after a painting in Schloss Wartegg). Georg Decker was commissioned by Archduke Ferdinand IV to paint a series of portraits of the archducal Tuscan family. The complete series was exhibited at the Künstlerhaus, Salzburg. Provenance: House of Habsburg.
