(1863-1914), a collection of 12 original photographs from his visit to India in 1893 during his world tour which lasted from 1892 to 1893, various photographers, including Raja (Lala), Deen Dayal (1844-1905), Colombo Apothecaries Co. and probably Frederick Ahrle & Co, Charles Kerr or Eduard Hodek jun., aluminium prints layered on card, most inscribed by hand, the photographs show: Archduke Ferdinand with a delegation (including Wurmbrand and Kinsky) to His Highness Nizam Mahbub Ali Khan of Hyderabad (24.1.1893), arrival and entrance into Colombo (2 photos, 5.1.1893), a horse from the Maharajah of Gwalior’s stud (29.1.1893), review of troops or military parade in Secunderabad, Andra Pradesh (3 photos, 25.1.1893), hunt elephants (24.2.1893), the Taj Mahal in Agra, the Albert Hall Museum in Jaipur, (hunt) camp at Tandur, a place for animal fights in the palace of Jaipur, card, each ca. 17,5 x 35 cm, photographs, each ca. 18 x 30 cm, (Lu)
