The main figure of Acis sits beside a nereid on a dolphin, they gaze into one another’s eyes, he touching her shoulder, obverse and verso a triton child, the child to the front encircles the lower body of the nymph with his arm, the other holds a water lily in his left hand, Acis holds the centre stem of the lamp with its 4 branches and sockets with his left arm, the group rises above a shell -shaped dish with a stepped base and waterfall in relief, 3 gilt volutes with scales and gilt shells, 3 gilt sculptural cartouches with the polychrome and gilt-painted coat-of-arms of the Saxon princely house, protected to the front by a gilt parasol, sockets and dropguards in shell form with fine, wide gilt rims, gilt lace borders and gilt-accented leaves, height 49 cm, some restoration to 1 branch, above which, and on two branches, a gilded sleeve, Meissen, underglaze blue sword mark with dot 1924–1934, model no. 245, former no. 132, model by Johann Joachim Kändler and Johann Friedrich Eberlein, 1739, for Heinrich Count von Brühl (Ru)
