glass, colourless with green leaves, yellow metal mounting, basket and glass column with richly faceted glass stone chains, straps with square glass stones, terminating in cut glass prism festoons, basket and straps with green foliate branches, total height 200 cm, 25 light bulbs: upper column two times five bulbs each, basket fifteen bulbs, basket height 36.5 cm, dm. 100 cm, perfect condition, in working order, J. & L. Lobmeyr, Vienna, around 1988, designed by architect DI Bernhard for the Stadt-Theater in Bregenz, blueprint no. 41410, following design sketch no. 88025/A from May 10, 1988 (Ru)

Architect Emil Bernhard, Graz, was a pupil of Oswald Haerdtl. Oswald Haerdtl, Vienna (May 17, 1899 to August 9, 1959) was an architect, designer and teacher of architecture in Austria and Poland. Joined Kolo Moser's painting class in 1916. Architecture class with Oskar Strnad in 1919, diploma thesis in 1921, teacher in Josef Hoffmann's masterclass in 1922, Werkbundsiedlung Vienna 1933, participation in the world exhibitions in Brussels 1935 and in Paris 1937, from 1925 onwards chandelier designs, drinking services, etc. for Lobmeyr, numerous awards;
