glass, colourless, curved body with gilt edging, fine gilt painted border with gilt rosettes, foliate festoons and ivy wreaths, facing side with transparent colour painted depiction: Fortuna floating in the clouds with gilt cornucopia and myrtle wreath in her left hand, scattering roses with her right hand, oval medallion framed by gilt snake of eternity, inside it gilt monogram “CvC. AvC.”, underneath that a dedication in gilt lettering “Oh! Theures Paar lebt froh beglückt, im Schoss der stillen Freude, Bis Eure Enkel Väter sind und deren Töchter Bräute”, cog-wheeled Ranft with gilt edging, sphere to base, height 11.3 cm, inside short scratch from a diamond ring, Anton Kothgasser, Vienna, c. 1820 (Ru)
