Workshop of Josef Danhauser (1780–1829), Vienna circa 1815/20. The bowl painted in verde antico, with the gilt “Holzbronzen” applications typical of Danhauser, with light branches and nozzles in the form of young women, with a central figure of Hestia goddess of the hearth. Suspended on 3 chains. H: 122 cm, D: 96 cm. In cared-for condition, with slight alterations and replacements in the course of a transformation or fitting for electricity. (PZ)
