A walnut-veneered desk with painted caryatids at the angles, one drawer, two doors, a fall-front writing surface and lavish fitted interior partly in yew and ash with a portal-like arrangement, alabaster portrait busts, secret drawers, mirror back panel and drawers with spring opening. 158 x 99 x 43.5 cm.
