Museum-quality Renaissance table,
Alpine area, 1st half of the 17th century. A solid walnut table, the square base measuring up to 5cm thick, with arched hinged foot supports, a four-sided column support, carved with griffon heads, scrolls and imbrication. The square top has four extensions and can be folded out for form a circle. 79 x 112 x 112 cm. Diameter 155 cm. Outstanding restored condition with fine patina, wood parts replaced. (PZ)
