A Kris dagger with an old, corrugated pamor blade (17th/18th century). The hilt, in a typical Javanese shape, is made of dark to light-coloured, wavy wood. The hilt ring (‘Mendak’) is made of brass and copper. The wooden sheath displays a boat (‘Wranka’) in a Yogjakarta shape and is set in an alloyed sheet metal with a high content of silver (!) and features a decorative cut-out on the front. 19th century or earlier.
