This post from an initiation hut, or from an initiation ground, of the Luguru or Kaguru (or from a house of the Gogo or Nyamwesi) displays the form of a female headdress in the large and flat upper section. The adjacent round section is forked at the bottom and carved all around with a ring in relief. With good, old usage patina. Minor age damage.
