West Turkestan, c. 44 x 116 cm, first half of the 19th century, finely manufactured 6 gul bag with massive chuval primary guls and chemche secondary motifs in alternating colours, on the grounds of its clear design this torba is a very interesting collector’s piece, woven back with remains of decorative fringes still preserved, edge damage as well as some moth damage, upper left corner incomplete.
