“With this stamp the artist refers to his spectacular moon project which was intended to illuminate the dark, invisible side of the moon by means of a mirror satellite prior to the turn of the last century.” The diameter of the individual concave mirror elements indicates that this is a rarer object in the artist’s 1980s oeuvre.
