According to oral tradition, this piece was used for the hammam in one of the palaces of King Carol of Romania; the design is attributed to Kolo Moser. Provenance: private ownership, Germany, purchased at auction, Hôtel des Ventes Anticthermal, Nancy, 18 October 2009, 16.
