an oval, colourless glass bowl with cut edges, cut décor on front and reverse side, handles with winged female fabled beings, sides with relief acanthus leaf friezes, front and reverse side with semi-plastic oak leaf borders, centre with sacrificial fire, young lady and cupid on sides, flanked by female sphinxes and cornucopia with laurel branches, under which palmettes, oval cameo with young semi-nude lady, cupid, butterfly and two muzzling doves of brown transparent ground, sides with dancing elves with palmettes in their hands, allegories for sculpture and painting, centre with fire vessel, four paw feet with female mascaroons and acanthus branches, height 20 cm, length 40 cm, France, second half of the nineteenth century.
