The author studied at the Secondary Art School V. Hollara and later at František Muzika’s studio at the AAAD. Besides glassmaking, she paints, draws, and designs graphics. She started creating her glass works in 1983 in Pilchuck in the United States. She primarily uses the technique of fused sculpture. Her works depict dreamy and magical creatures veering into irony and the grotesque.
