Extraordinary tunicle, - Clocks, Asian Art, Metalwork, Faience, Folk Art, Sculpture

three parts, chasuble, maniple and stole, fine leather, embossed geometrical patterns, painted with flowers and grapes, lined with fine hand-woven linen, damage due to age, around 1600, (Ki)

The leather came from the Arabic countries, where the exploitation of leather was so finely mastered, so that it could be further made into items for use in Europe. Tunicles were mostly made in convents as a side occupation.
