Portrait of Count Raimund Saurau (1740-1796), oil on canvas, 69 x 52 cm, framed,
Provenance: Styrian nobility. Count Raimund Saurau, owner of the estates Ligist and Premstätten, was married to Countess Maria Anna of Dietrichstein (1742-1775). The Saurau family, who died out in 1846, numbered among the oldest families in Styria. The name of the sitter is inscribed on the reverse (transferred from the original canvas).
