Originally Switzerland, Bern district circa 1760/70. A deux-corps, veneered in walnut and with marquetry panels and carved rocaille applications. The serpentine lower section has three drawers, the writing section has a fall front and six interior drawers and the upper section has two doors and eight interior drawers. Approx. 221 x 121 x 67 cm. With alterations particularly in the interior as the result of several restorations and mounts replaced. (PZ)
