designed by Jean Prouvé, c. 1945, manufactured by Les Ateliers Jean Prouvé, Nancy, cut, bent and welded sheet iron, remains of black lacquer coating, marble top (Comblanchier), height 34.5 cm, diameter 88 cm. (DR) Original condition. A maximum of 25 pieces were produced of this model. With a certificate issued by Serge Binotto on 19 October 2010 and an oral confirmation coming from Jean Prouvé"™s daughter Catherine, that this is a rare piece designed by her father.
