Southwest Caucasus, c. 233 x 170 cm, 19th century classic, large border decoration in archaic style with prominent white zig-zag band, on blue ground, six staggered polygons on top of each other with abstract four-legged figures on either side, despite its powerful dynamism and multicolour execution, the present carpet has a very homogeneous look, excellent pile, all sides and finishes are original.
An interesting collector’s piece.
