Northwest Anatolia (Turkey), c. 104 (127) x 114 cm, late 19th century, West Anatolian small rug, referred to as “Yagcibedir” also on the ground of its quality and dark colours, in the present case with the aforementioned dark colours, in classic niche design with star-shaped patterns, a special feature are its large kilim trims, which are the predominant standard in Bergama, in exceptionally good state of preservation, with full pile, complete endweaves with warps tied off into nets.
