Southeast Caucasus, c. 342 x 166 cm, dated 1876, an early carpet of the Talish group in rare broad format with light-coloured, sharply defined main border and reciprocal secondary borders, consistently low pile with heavily oxidised brown, inscription in the upper “methane” ground, both finishes have been filled in, the side edges newly overcast, with several repairs due to age.
