(1860-1949) Portrait of a Girl with Vine Leaves in her Hair, according to family tradition this is an employee of the Santini Familie in Tivoli, inscribed Irolli on the reverse in pencil, oil on panel, 34 x 24.5 cm, framed, (Rei)
Provenance: From the property of the painter Pio Santini on whose family estate Irolli lived; in 1942 the painting was given by Pio Santini to the current owner Janine Coirre Humphrey; the painting has remained family property to this day. The painting is reputed to be a portrait of one of the Santini employees. Irolli was not particularly well-off at the time and therefore lived on the Santini estate.
