designed by Fritz Waclawek *, Austria, c. 1992, coated hardwood, nickel plated and leather covered metal trays, glass top, 148 x 148 x 160 cm. (DR) Coming with the design sketch, dated 25 May 1992 and signed (as a scan). A commissioned work and unique specimen. This object is a multifunctional piece of furniture whose trays and surfaces can be folded and reversed so that it can be used as a desk, a side table, an occasional table, etc. Depending on how it is used, the soft side (leather) or the wear-resistant side (metal) can be turned up. Provenance: private ownership, Vienna.
