designed by Carl Auböck in 1956 for Neuzeughammer Amboßwerke Steyr, Austria, stainless steel, all parts marked, 380 parts in three wooden boxes: 24 large spoons, forks, and knives, 24 dessert spoons, forks, and knives, 24 cake forks, 24 fruit knives, 24 tea spoons, 24 coffee spoons, 24 mocha spoons, 24 fish knives and forks, 24 butter knives, 24 lemonade spoons, 2 cake slices, 2 pairs of salad servers, 2 soup ladles, 3 small meat forks, 3 serving forks, 5 sauce spoons, 1 large meat fork. (DR) Awarded a Diplome d’Honneur and a gold medal at the 1958 Brussels Universal Exposition. Purchased c. 1968. Unused. Provenance: private ownership, Vienna. Lit.: G.
