designed by Egon Eiermann in 1950, petrol and pigeon blue coated coniferous wood, solid beech frame and handles, linoleum top, the wall cupboard with a yellow lacquered plywood rear wall, plastic and glass drawers, height 88 cm, length 195 cm, depth 50 cm, wall cupboard: height 42 cm, length 195 cm, depth 29 cm. (DR) A unique piece. Made for Egon and Charlotte Eiermann’s apartment in Karlsruhe and taken along by Charlotte Eiermann to Berlin when she moved there in 1952. The ensemble was in situ until c. 2002. Provenance: Eiermann apartment, until c. 2002 - private ownership, Germany.
