designed by Josef Frank for Haus & Garten, Vienna, c. 1925, brown stained and bent beechwood, rubber cap feet, one stool featuring a multicoloured textile strap seat, height 38.5 cm, 44.5 x 42 cm, the other a multicoloured woven bast fibre seat, Thonet factory label, and punched Thonet factory mark, height 39 cm, 45 x 42 cm. Both in original condition. In the Thonet Mundus factory catalogue (no. 147, 1925?), this stool was offered with a plywood seat as Model No. B 313. The models featuring coloured textile strap seats or woven cord seats in similar colours are based on Josef Frank’s design. The model with a textile strap seat has been unknown to date.
