Giovanni Richter can be traced to have been active in Venice from 1717 onwards. Certificate: Prof. Egidio Martini. Il Prof. Martini scrive: “I consider this painting to be a splendid work by Giovanni Richter from around 1720, a period when his manner of painting was characterized by a clear and sunny atmosphere very similar to that of the great Canaletto.”
