A freestanding rosewood veneered hardwood desk, of serpentine form, the upper section of outstanding bombé and serpentine shaping and with crossbanded veneer, as well as geometric marquetry, a total of 7 drawers, and a pull-out writing ledge with 3 integrated secret compartments; the upper terminal with a brass medallion depicting the Spanish king Ferdinand VII.
