West Anatolia (Turkey), c. 395 x 268 cm, about 1930, the term "Borlu" is used for Ushak carpets with tight binding, the present specimen is manufactured on wool foundation with detailed pattern in continuous repeat; pile with signs of age and wear, brown heavily corroded, edges largely repaired.
