Kashmir shawl,
Northwest India, c. 197 x 200 cm, dated 1976, square-shaped shawl in Bobinet technique made of numerous, separately woven parts which were then sewn together, a dense pattern of palmettes and botehs with filigree border frames, the black central field displays the weaver's signature, very good condition, a few minor open seams should be stitched.
