Adolf Loos, a three-part fireplace screen for the dining room of Friedrich Boskovits’s apartment, Vienna I, Bartensteingasse 9, probably executed by Friedrich Otto Schmidt - Jugendstil and 20th Century Arts and Crafts

brass, metal; double-sided, one side partly with foliate decoration in relief; middle screen with two buttons on the front; all three screens with two curved paw feet at the bottom; signs of age and use, the screens partly bent and with small holes, a few nuts missing in the brackets on the frame; size: height: 90.5 cm, width of the side screens: each 30 cm, width of the middle screen: 44.2 cm. Provenance:
The fireplace screen has always remained in the ownership of the same Viennese family.
