Throne of the Pharaoh Tutankhamun,
A mid-20th century copy after the original. A hardwood throne, with high quality relief carving, also painted gold (some gold leaf) polychrome painted, the backrest with figural motifs, the outside of the armrests with Egyptian style motifs, with fully carved lion heads as well as lavish openwork. 1 decorative element (a bird's beak) above the right armrest is missing, some loss to paintwork on the inside of the armrests. Otherwise in cared-for condition. (DOC)
