1st quarter of the 19th century. Made in walnut-veneered softwood, in the form of a chest of drawers and integrated chair on casters, decorated with marquetry panels in further fruitwoods, with a total of 9 external drawers, 1 large hinged drawer with writing section and leather-lined writing surface, also restored compartments, a pull-out leather lined chair with a hinged kneeling ledge on the back panel, a Baroque mirror mounted on the top back panel with a moulded frame and a facetted mirror panel, height-adjustable by means of a lateral crank mechanism, and a frame which latches on (formerly a devotional picture) which can be set to the height of the mirror. Ca. 95 (with mirror 197 cm) x 111 x 56 cm. With lateral handles. In restored condition. (DOC)
