Central Persia (Iran), c. 166 x 107 cm, about 1970, finely knotted pictorial carpet on silk warp with c. 910,000 kts/sqm, exquisite pile made of cork wool, the coat of the lady lower left is entirely executed in dark red silk, woven finishes on both sides, the lower section featuring the Iranian national colours and the signature: Iran Esfahan Eslimi.
