West Turkestan, c. 140 x 48 cm, mid-19th century, very finely knotted fragment with extremely valuable wool quality and neatly designed pattern; left carpet fragment with full pile, preserved tree elem and white outer border, all other sides have been trimmed, the lower end secured, both long sides with new selvedges.
