West Turkestan, c. 42 x 110 cm, mid-19th century, violet-brown central field with “ertmen” gul design, each of the halved ertmens displays two “kush” (bird) motifs with head, legs and body, consisting of six squares; good pile with a hole, both finishes with folded back kilim and bottom cords with ornamental fringes have survived, some edge damage.
