South Turkestan, c. 93 x 177 cm, about 1870, large chuval of the Beshir tribes with “Mina Khani” field pattern, with an arrangement of mesh-braided floral pattern, a large blossom and four white narcissus, “Muska” amulet motifs at the top edge and tree ornaments in the skirt; very good, soft pile condition, with original upper finish and side edges, the lower weave is no longer preserved.
