West Turkestan, c. 50 x 25 cm, about 1900, knotted tent strut covers in original form, sewn together to form a pouch, with a classic pattern of diagonal, jagged “ashik leaves” and unusual reciprocal medachyl border; both the original ornamental tassels and the (damaged) cord for hanging have survived.
