Active in Halle, Vienna, Dresden circa 1680–1716, signed “Christian Carl Schindler. Mathemat. et Mechan. fecit”., brass with red and black colored engravings, base with perpetual calender and four other calendar volvelles. Folding latitude arc (0 – 70 degrees) with hour ring with scales from I-IX and III-XII, table of latitudes for 20 European towns, pin hole (for gnomon?); plument missing, small damages, original condition. Size c. 97 x 81 mm. (WU).
