The present painting relates to Franesco Solimena’s fresco in the Chapel of Saint Philip Neri in the church of the Girolamini, Naples as well as another version in Capodimonte, Naples, on loan to the Museo Nazionale delle Ceramiche Duca di Martina (see N. Spinosa, Francesco Soilmena, Rome 2018, p. 504, no. 239 and p. 505, no. 240).
